WALFORD residents are left in shock after Gray Atkins was caught and arrested for his crimes.
Perhaps more shaken still is the killer's wife, Chelsea as she announces shocking news to Whitney Dean in EastEnders.
How could Chelsea (portrayed by actress Zaraah Abrahams) have never known she was married to a murderer?
The question resonates loudly among Albert Square residents next week as the aftermath of Gray's downfall plays out.
Coming up, the beautician receives the support of her close relatives, despite their disbelief, and her son Jordan shockingly returns to hospital.

While some may still be looking for revenge, Chelsea tries to put the past and Gray's villainous actions behind her while at the NICU.
Thankfully for her, Patrick Trueman (Rudolph Walker) has some reassuring words for her – and they seem to make her reflect on recent events.
Later on, Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty) pays Chelsea a visit at the hospital and is hit with a baby bombshell about Jordan.

But after Tina Carter's body was found in the Argee Bhajee, Chelsea was one of the many residents to learn the truth about Tina's death.
Her murder came to light and was finally exposed by Whitney.
Mitch Baker, Chantelle's father, soon put two and two together and came to the realisation Gray had murdered his daughter.
He eventually helped Whitney – who also found out the lawyer killed her fiancé Kush – track and turn Gray in to the authorities.
After attempting to manipulate his former mother-in-law Karen Taylor one last time, and dramatic confrontations with the latter and Shirley Carter, Gray was handcuffed, hauled away and thrown into a police car.
Gray left Walford with one last sickening gesture to Karen, reminding her of how he watched Chantelle die in September, 2020.
But how will Chelsea cope as the single mother of a three-month-old baby?
