EMMERDALE fans have spotted a huge blunder as Laurel Thomas tried to escape from her kidnapper, Marshall's homophobic father Colin.
Wednesday's visit to the Dales saw Colin hold Laurel hostage to try to convince her to send their son to attend a conversion therapy camp in America.
Laurel was able to escape the room, after she knocked Colin out with his Bible and rushing out the door.
Laurel panicked when all the doors were locked and tried to hide from Colin.
But Colin found her and tied her up to the bed, leaving Laurel terrified.
However, fans have taken to social media to point out a series of blunders where Laurel could have escaped.

Another wrote: "So there's a Bible and a trophy in Marshall's bedroom and Laurel doesn't think to smash the windows with them!"
