Good Morning Britain host Adil Ray has made a cheeky joke about Susanna Reid's bed.
The Lingo presenter was back on our screens on Wednesday morning (March 23) to co-host the ITV daytime show alongside Susanna.
A new theme tune played out on the programme and clearly took Adil, 47, by surprise.
He said: "That was a jazzy new bed we got there."
Susanna interrupted: "A new bed? What you talking about a new bed?"
Adil replied: "A new musical bed. I wasn't talking about my bed or your bed. We don't have a new bed. The musical bed was new."
A flustered Susanna agreed: "Ah I see, it's a jazzy new theme."
Good Morning Britain has been fronted by Richard and Susanna on Mondays to Wednesdays since before Christmas.
However, Adil filled in for Richard Madeley on Wednesday morning.
Confirming his return to the GMB studio, Adil tweeted: "Back on your box tomorrow @gmb with the ace @susannareid100 latest from Ukraine, look ahead to the Spring statement, Keith Allen drops by. Oh and I am very GRATEFUL. Just incase you were wondering… see you at 6."
Fans were clearly excited to hear Adil's exciting news and rushed to leave a message for the star on social media.
One fan penned: "Fantastic news! Best duo on telly."
Another added: "Something to look forward to, love your comedy and your ability to be serious and really put politicians on the back foot."
A third person posted: "Really enjoy the show when you're on."
While a fourth tweeted: "Dream team back can't wait."
It comes after Money Saving Expert star Martin Lewis won applause from viewers upon his brief return to Good Morning Britain on Monday and Tuesday.
Posting on Twitter after the show he wrote: "Many kind comments about me doing @GMB more permanently.
"Sadly the workload & hours mean it's not compatible with my day job, so I can't do more. Shame, as I enjoy the challenge.
