GOOD Morning Britain viewers have praised Susanna Reid after Piers Morgan shared a behind the scenes snap of her glam squad’s “desperate race against time” to prep her for the live show.
Three minutes before going live at 6AM and broadcasting the latest news across Britain, the 51-year-old tweeted a photograph of two assistants working on Susanna, 46.
Captioning the picture, Piers wrote: “5.57am, and a desperate race against time to prepare our Queen for the nation.”
However, fans were quick to defend the cheeky snap and praised an oblivious Susanna.
One user replied: “Susanna does not require any preparation.”
It appears Piers may need more time with the glam squad than his stunning co-host.
Behind the scene's snaps from the breakfast show posted in October show Piers having a face full of powder applied.
"We're going to need more makeup," the official Good Morning Britain Instagram account wrote alongside one snap.
Earlier this month the TV personality revealed she's equally as happy to go make-up free.
Susanna shared a no make-up selfie with her followers as she encouraged women not to compare themselves with others.
In the Instagram snap, the Good Morning Britain presenter shared a picture of her bare face next to one of her fully made up.
She captioned it: "Me on Instagram = extra eyelashes, make-up & filters. Me in Real life = blemishes, lines & flaws.
"There's a time & value for both but don't compare your behind-the-scenes to others' highlights reels. Happy Being You Year!"
The picture got a huge response from her followers with many telling her she was "amazing" for sharing the honest snap.
One wrote: "You are stunning without make-up too, I love that you have posted this, happy new year Susanna x."
