Holly Willoughby was replaced by Rochelle Humes during the latest edition of This Morning as she enjoyed the bank holiday with her children.
The 40-year-old presenter usually hosts the ITV daytime show with Phillip Schofield Monday to Thursday.
Viewers are used to Phillip and Holly taking time off over school holiday and on bank holidays.
However, Phillip appeared in the studio with Rochelle, 32, while Holly took a day off to spend some quality time with her family.
Addressing Holly's absence, Phillip, 59, said: "It's bank holiday so Holly is off with the kids today. Rochelle is here."
The Saturdays band member laughed before adding: "I decided to leave mine at home, Holly is a better mum than me!"
"I was like 'There's no school again?' Oh I'm going to work."
Viewers at home rushed to
Taking to Twitter, one fan penned: "Holly has got another day off? Shocker…"
Another added: "Holly has another day off?"
While a third person posted: "Actually quite surprised that Schofe is on given it’s a Bank Holiday."
A fourth social media user said: "Holly having another well earned rest day?"
It comes after Rochelle presented with Phillip last month as Holly took time off to work on a secret project, which was later revealed to be her debut book.
It was later revealed that Holly had been busy writing her first book.
She has described her new venture into writing as "thoughts and musings" from her on "inner and outer beauty".
Sharing a snap of the cover of her book Reflections on Instagram last week, Holly penned to her millions of fans: "This is a message I’ve been looking forward to sending… I’ve been working on a very special project – a book!
"Writing is such a personal process and between these pages you will find many little pieces of me. The book is called Reflections and is essentially thoughts and musings from me on inner and outer beauty.
"We live in a world where so much is about how we present ourselves on the outside and there is fun to be had here but true beauty comes from within… there is an alignment that needs to happen and finding that balance hasn’t always felt so easy."
The mother of three went on to explain how she feels she's at the point of her where she can see more clearly.
She continued: "And I want to share my truths in the hope that maybe they’ll help you too.
"This book is my celebration of how inner and outer beauty can work together in perfect harmony.
"I hope this book will start conversations, whether they’re about how to find your signature lipstick, reclaim your sexuality, or treat yourself more kindly – and, ultimately, what it means to feel beautiful, confident, complete."
She added: "I can’t wait to share it with you all and yet can’t help but feel nervous at the same time…
"I think the more important something is… the scarier it feels… deep breath… I hope you enjoy it…. #reflections."
Holly told fans that the book will "share my truths in the hope that maybe they'll help you too".
