Home and Away child stars now – assault charge, unrecognisable and rehab stint

  • Some of the finest actors begin their careers in soaps, with several starting from incredibly young ages.

    Since Home and Away first hit screen in 1988, there has been an abundance of scandalous storyline from the residents of Summer Bay.

    While the adults are always there to wreak havoc, the same can be said for the youngsters and teenagers who also find time to get up to no good.

    With most of these youngsters now fully-grown adults themselves, it leaves fans wondering whether they continued their acting careers after leaving.

    As actress Olivia Deeble, who landed the role of Raffy Morgan at the age of 14, celebrates her 21st birthday today (August 4), Daily Star has looked at where some of the young stars from the soap are now.

    1. Felix Dean – VJ Patterson

      He rose to fame playing Leah Patterson’s (Ada Nicodemou) son, VJ, from ages 10 to 16. Felix played the part from 2007 until 2014 before the role was recast. It is believed the young actor began smoking cannabis at 14 and moved on to injecting meth

    2. Jail time

      The former actor spent time in jail for a string of offences committed in 2020 and 2021, including attacking a store worker and shoplifting.
