I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here! fans couldn’t help but swoon over footballer David Ginola as he gushed over how much he missed his “beautiful” girlfriend.
The former sportsman told his fellow campmates how much he missed his model partner Maeva Denat when he eventually leaves the castle.
While the pro footballer and actors Danny Miller and Adam Woodyatt warmed up by the fire, he confessed how much he missed her just hours after he read out the Emmerdale star’s letter from home.
His supportive friends gave him a friendly embrace as he shared how much he missed his partner and their daughter that they share together.
While the rest of the campmates started to wake up, David gushed over his French belle as he admitted: “I can’t wait to see my girlfriend. Do you know why? Because I want to see something beautiful.”
EastEnders star Adam replied: “Aww … he’s basically saying we’re minging.”
As the trio chuckled over the silly joke, David couldn’t help but hug him from behind and started serenading him with the James Blunt song You’re Beautiful.
David couldn’t help but mumble: “Beautiful … you’re beautiful” and even Adam couldn’t help but swoon over his beautiful French accent.
Adam told the Telegraph: “That man could read the phonebook and it would sound sexy.”
And he wasn’t the only person who thought so as fans swarmed to Twitter to share how much they loved David’s beautiful accent while he doted on his girlfriend.
One user penned: “I feel like we’re all like Danny now and we all have a crush on David” with two heart eyes emojis.
Another agreed: “Oh David you gorgeous man ‘I can’t wait to get out of here and see my girlfriend’ ‘I want to see something beautiful’.”
A third chimed in with: “Anybody else jealous of David’s girlfriend? Just me then,” with four tongue out emojis.
Elsewhere another added: “Awh David he’s honestly the sweetest most selfless guy who provides much needed comfort and support to the others.”
