I’m A Celeb in chaos as first eviction date and details ‘leaks online’

I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! may have descended into chaos as the "first eviction date and details" appear to have been leaked online, ahead of any announcement from ITV.

The series has seen celebs including pop icon Boy George, rugby champ turned royal Mike Tindall, and former Health Secretary Matt Hancock reside in the jungle camp and embark on challenges for food and other items.

And while we're yet to see an eviction this year, that could change in just a few days claims politics and pop culture blog Politicalite.

Posting to Twitter, they write: "Brits will get to EVICT campmate from I’m A Celeb on FRIDAY night."

Politicalite continue: "Telly bosses told Politicalite that they are planning to air an extended 90-minute show on Friday which could feature an eviction.

IAC sources added that they think Tory MP Matt Hancock will be the first to leave I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here! after the public voted for him to take part in his sixth Bushtucker trial on Sunday."

The MP, 44, has, so far, embarked on six bushtucker trials, with the public repeatedly voting for him to face the infamous challenges.

He was finally given a break recently with Chris Moyles facing the last two trials, the first of these alongside Boy George and Babatúndé Aléshé.

And while the disgraced politician may have won over some of his fellow campmates, he may not have won over enough viewers to remain on the show past the first eviction.

TV watchdog Ofcom have received nearly 2,000 complaints over the MP's participation on the show, and many viewers have taken to social media to share their own complaints.

Taking to Twitter on viewer posted: "You could put Matt Hancock on a thousand reality TV shows and he could beg for forgiveness on each and every one of them but I will NEVER like him or forgive him for what he did during lockdown. The sooner he's out that jungle the better! #ImACeleb".

While another added: "Matt Hancock is not a celebrity, he's an MP with a dodgy record who is openly skiving off in Australia, all just to get publicity for his book & beg forgiveness that he's not due send him home to do his job."

But it's not just Matt who people are wanting out of the jungle, with one viewer asking: "Can we have a quadruple eviction first- George, Matt, Chris and Charlene?"

With someone else adding: "Charlene or George out first please or even better a double eviction."
