ITV I’m A Celebrity 2023 stars breaking show rules with hidden signals to family

I'm A Celebrity stars have been missing their families dearly during their time in the Aussie jungle.

Being away from your loved ones for three weeks while you're batting away bugs and living off of rice and beans is a tough ask. But it seems like some celebrities from this year's series have been bending the rules by sending secret signals to their nearest and dearest.

As fans know, the celebs are unable to communicate with their families during their time in the jungle, except for on special occasions, such as Friday night's (December 9) episode where Sam Thompson got a huge surprise from his pal Pete Wicks. But this year's cohort are rather cunnng.

With just one day until the next King or Queen of the jungle is crowned, Daily Star has looked at the stars secretly communicating to the outside world.

Marvin Humes

Marvin, who left the show on Friday (December 9), was caught communicating with wife Rochelle and their kids. The JLS singer, 38, was seen tapping his fist on his heart four times, presumably one tap for each.

This Morning star Rochelle even commented on the signal. Co-host Emma Willis asked: "Is his little heart pump every time he is live on TV for you guys?". A smiling Rochelle replied: "I shouldn’t say yes or no, but you’re my friends, so yes it is."

Danielle Harold

It's believed Danielle, who was axed last week, had been touching her hat in camp. Good Morning Britain's Richard Arnold said: "We've noticed that Danielle, she seems to be touching her hat a lot.

"So we're wondering down here whether or not that means that she's trying to say to her friends and family back home that she is keeping her head and keeping her cool."

Nella Rose

YouTuber Nella Rose kept covering her mouth, which led Richard to believe she was also in on the sneaky trick. "One other signal that we've noticed is Nella, our lovely Nella Rose, that she keeps covering her mouth. But I want to hear more of her screams!"

And they're not the first to send hidden signals to the outside, because Radio DJ Chris Moyles made a T-shape with his hands last year every time Ant and Dec entered camp to reveal the public vote. It was his way of reassuring his girlfriend Tiffany.
