JANE McDonald has defended her decision to wear skimpy swimming costumes on her latest Channel 5 travel series.
The TV star – who has hosted Holidaying with Jane McDonald this year – has jetted off to a number of sunny locations in the Caribbean.
Jane, 59, sat down with celebrity chef James Martin on his self-titled Saturday morning cookery show to chat about the series.
She fiercely defended her decision to wear skimpy swimsuits on the programme, where she was often seen dipping into the sea.
The singer said she "doesn't care" how she looks and insisted she wasn't bothered by criticism from people online.
As James, 49, cooked a delicious fish-based dish for Jane detailed her recent travels around the Caribbean, from St Lucia to Grenada.

"You say you don't like travelling but over there [the Caribbean], it's pretty special out there," James kicked off the chat.
"Well, I mean, I'm always on the go and I'm always away – but I've got such a great filming team and we have such a laugh," Jane replied.
"I get into it, I like it. I'm not bothered what I look like in a swimming costume any more, I don't care.
"I get my costume on, I jump in places and I have a good time. I just really like to get involved with what's going on."

It comes after Jane bid an emotional farewell to her travel show in the final Miami episode – and left fans with one big request.
The singer spent time in Florida for her latest travel show and enjoyed visiting some of the old haunts from her cruise ship days.
Jane rounded things off in Miami, where she took a private speedboat tour to see the homes of the rich and famous.
As the episode came to an end, Jane reflected on the trip, saying: "As the sun goes down in Miami, the sun goes down on my amazing trip."
Viewers were sad to see the show end, but many immediately took to Twitter to suggest Jane's next project.
