Jeffrey Dahmer’s Prison Eyeglasses for Sale at $150K Amid Controversy Over Netflix Series

The prison specs worn by notorious serial killer, which currently owned by Vancouver-based Cult Collectibles owner Taylor James, are now up for grabs for a hefty $150,000.

AceShowbiz -Jeffrey Dahmer’s look will apparently be one of many Halloween costume options this year. Despite being warned not to dress up as the serial killer, people are seemingly trying to copy his look. More interestingly, his prison eyeglasses are now up for sale at a whopping price.

Seemingly trying to cash in on the hype following the release of Netflix series “Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story“, Taylor James, who owns Vancouver-based Cult Collectibles, told TMZ that he would charge $150,000 to get the notorious killer’s glasses. James said the glasses are only a small part of his Dahmer collection.

James shared that he got his hands on Dahmer’s glasses from the killer’s dad, Lionel Dahmer, after his son was beaten to death inside a Wisconsin prison in 1994, part of James’ vast collection of Dahmer paraphernalia.

The glasses in James’ possession were worn by Dahmer during his time in prison. The Milwaukee serial killer was convicted of 17 murders and was sentenced to a life behind bars in 1992. This life would only last another two years as he was beaten to death by a fellow inmate in 1994.

James further shared that he was recently contacted by a former housekeeper of Dahmer’s father and agreed to manage and sell the items given to him for a cut of the profit. The collection includes the killer’s prison Bible for $6,000, his urn, which sells for $250,000, and a fifth-grade class picture up for sale for $3,500.

Netflix’s “Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story” has been a streaming success but it’s also drawn criticism. The sister of one of Dahmer’s victims spoke out about the series, saying no one consulted her beforehand. She claimed that Netflix was “money-hungry.”

Among those who voiced their thoughts on the controversial series was Boosie Badazz (Lil Boosie. “AS BLACK PEOPLE WE SHOULD BOYCOTT THE JEFFERY DAHMER MOVIE,” the “Wipe Me Down” spitter tweeted, referencing the fact that the majority of Dahmer’s 17 victims were young black gay men whom he lured into his home, killed, cannibalized and kept for trophies. “WHAT HE DID TO OUR BLACK KIDS IS F**KING SICK #NETFLIX TAKE THIS MOVIE DOWN ITS SICK.”
