Kate Garraway starred on BBC 2's Walking With… and shared an insight into her family worries as her husband Derek Draper continues to battle with his health.
During the programme on Wednesday, she took a long scenic walk and laid down on a tree and reflected on her life problems.
Talking about the glorious trees, she said: "It's a comforting movement enough to distract you from your worries."
She continued: "When I still do feel the crisis and the worry about what Derek's future is and what our future is since he contracted Covid.
"I find that just focuses on one thing helps you to calm the mind down and a chance to stop and be and let life come to me for a change."
She also went on to explain how her life felt like a "living theatre" as she continued with her six-mile stroll.
Later in the walk, Kate prayed for Derek's return to full health as he continues to struggle with the devastating after-effects of COVID-19.
The former political advisor was initially rushed to hospital in March 2020 after falling gravely ill with the unpredictable virus.
But Kate, 54, admitted she's still hoping for a miracle as her stricken husband, also 54, battles to overcome the terrible damage inflicted on his internal organs by the disease.
Kate also said: “You can probably guess what I’m praying for” as she hopes for husband Derek Draper to give her a hug.
The Good Morning Britain presenter had her first day to herself in nearly two years after watching Derek become seriously ill last year, battling Covid.
The TV star's husband was in hospital for a year and has now returned home, but needs round the clock care.
Wandering in the Cotswolds countryside, Kate said: “I’ve had moments of great loneliness and fear.
“It’s hard because the person I wanted to give me a hug is the person that can’t – and that’s Derek.
“There’s something about coming here and reminding yourself that you can feel the countryside wrapping its arms around you and giving you love back.
“I feel very grateful for today.”
