Katie Price has told this year's Love Island cast to "get over" the fact that not every man will find women who have had cosmetic surgery attractive.

The 43 year old reacted to Sharon Gaffka and Faye Winter's discussion after Hugo Hammond admitted doesn't like girls who are "fake" during a game.

Sharon, 25, and Faye, 26, both admitted to going under the knife before entering the villa, leaving them unimpressed by 24 year old Hugo's remarks.

Former glamour model Katie, who recently thought she was going to die she underwent liposuction, eye, chin and lip surgery in Turkey, has now voiced her opinion on the matter.

Filming a clip of Tuesday night's show and uploading it to her 2.6 million Instagram followers, she wrote: "Get over it."

The mum-of-five is heard saying: "Get over it, girls. Some guys don't like the fake look, they like the girl next door.

"If you can't handle the criticism, don't have the work done," she continued.

Viewers of the hit ITV2 show were left furious on Tuesday night when fan favourite Hugo was left in tears after accidentally upsetting Faye and Sharon.

Faye and Sharon, who have both had breast implants and botox treatments, started simmering with anger straight away, but things got decidedly worse.

Sharon stormed off to the benches with Rachel Finni for a chat, and Hugo was completely puzzled over what he'd supposedly done wrong.

Hugo apologised to Sharon, but burst into tears as the emotions got too much and she shared her anger over his comments, telling the government policy writer he was worried he'd "let her down".

While the two Islanders cleared the air, Hugo's following chat with Faye ended with her angrily telling him about the heartbreak she suffered with her appearance and self-esteem as a teen.

Faye informed Hugo her struggles escalated to the point that her parents relented and gave their daughter money for a boob job when she turned 18.
