Kim Kardashian ‘burst into tears' backstage at SNL after 'most physically & emotionally exhausting week of her life'

Kim Kardashian "burst into tears" backstage after she wrapped filming Saturday Night Live, The Sun can reveal.

Sources exclusively told us that the KUWTK star, 40, endured the "most physically and emotionally exhausting week of her life".

An insider said: “Kim and the entire family couldn’t be happier with how the show went.

"She said this was the most physically and emotionally exhausting week of work she’s ever had and by the end of the show, she just burst into some tears backstage.

"She rarely gets emotional like that but I think it was a mixture of being so happy it went well and so relieved she finished."

Kim was filming for 20 hours a day all week in preparation for Saturday's show.

The insider added that her mom Kris Jenner, 65, and sister Khloe, 37 – who joined Kim on Friday to shoot a sketch – were equally emotional.

"Kris and Khloe cried too, everyone was just so proud of her," the source said.

"This was a big moment for her and she’s getting a lot of support.

"She doesn’t care about any haters who didn’t like it, she knows the work she put in and thinks it turned out great.”

Kijm wowed fans with her Saturday Night Live debut, poking fun at herself, ex Kanye West and her family in her savage monologue.

Slamming Kanye's presidential run, she said: "I know we are divided as a country but I would love America to come together.

"That's why I am running for… just kidding guys, I'm not running for president. We can't have 3 failed musicians in the family.

"I married the best rapper of all time. Not to mention the richest Black person in America.

"We also have four amazing kids, which is why when I divorced him, it came to just one thing, his personality."

She also took aim at her sisters, quipping: "I'm much more than that reference photo my sister show their plastic surgeon."

The reality star later kissed actor Pete Davidson during a Princess Jasmine/Aladdin sketch.

The SKIMS founder had fans begging for the unlikely pair to date after they shared a smooch on a "magic flying carpet."

Sources exclusively told The Sun that Kanye had "no hurt feelings" over the kiss and found it amusing.

The insider claimed: “Kanye has no hurt feelings whatsoever about Kim kissing Pete Davidson.

“She told him about it before the show and he thought it was really funny.”

Kim also took part in a Bachelorette parody sketch called "The Dream Guy, which featured a slew of celebrity cameos.

The likes of Amy Schumer, John Cena, Chris Rock and Bachelorette star Tyler Cameron all competed for her affections in the "token ceremony".
