Lavish £4.8million property mocked as 'leisure centre from 1994'

Plans for a three-storey, six-bed £4.8million mansion, located in a celebrity hotspot, have been revealed.

But the design isn’t for everyone.

Set with an underground garage, games room, cinema and gym, the luxurious property – which hasn’t even been built yet – has been brought to life using CGI imaging.

The swanky pad will also have a lift connecting all the floors of the home.

Located in a Mobberley, Cheshire, the house is a stone’s throw from Knutsford – a village popular with the likes of Wayne Rooney, John Stones and Kyle Walker.

According to the listing, this is a ‘rare opportunity’ to create a ‘spectacular family home’ across roughly six acres of land.

It boasts a flexible layout over three floors, which is ideal for a modern family

Furthermore, the listing promises ‘incredibly light and airy’ accommodation once the house is ready to live in.

However, the design plans for the property have not impressed everyone.

Some on Twitter have mocked the house, saying it’s ideal if you’re hunting for a ‘medium-sized market town leisure centre, from 1994’ – mainly because the multiple toilets and changing rooms give it ‘that feel.’

Other house-hunters are ‘confused’ by the property plans, with one questioning what exactly the hefty price entails.

‘Does the insane price tag actually include an opportunity to create?’ one comment suggests.

Another questions if the price ‘just’ includes land and planning permission, with another noting that the property’s price has dropped a ‘few times.’

The property is being sold by Savills, with the price only recently reduced.
