LOVE Island’s Liam Reardon has been receiving death threats as a result of him cracking on with Lillie Haynes in Casa Amor, his sister claimed.
Niamh Reardon has been looking after her brother’s social media accounts while he’s hidden away in Love Island, during which he became a favourite for his budding romance with Millie Court.
However, with the introduction of six new singletons in Casa Amor, the Welsh lad has been tempted away by the pretty 22-year-old – and has even admitted to wanting to kiss her.
Sleeping in bed with her and getting closer by the hour, viewers have furiously lashed out at him on his Instagram, despite him not being able to see it.
Instead, it’s been his sister that’s had to witness the abuse from online trolls, and in a new post she’s urged viewers to be kind and stop with the horrific death threats.
She wrote on Instagram: “Hey guys sorry it’s been quiet on here, I’ve been up in London and only now catching up on everything.
“We are also gutted at the thought of Liam and Millie ending and are sending positive vibes into the villa.
“We hope it’s not the end but we do hope they both find their perfect match even if that means it’s not together.”
“With that being said please remember that this is a reality television programme and Liam’s family and friends can see everything that’s being posted,” she added.
“There is really no need for nasty, vulgar and death-related messages. Please keep it light and remember to be kind.”
On tonight’s episode, Millie, who is back in the main villa, is set to get a hint at just what Liam has been up to, as his flirtations with Lillie get even more tense.
Forced to come up with a decision quickly, Liam needs to decide where his loyalties actually lie, and who will be joining him in his couple after Casa Amor is over.
Whose heart is about to get broken?
Love Island continues nightly at 9pm on ITV2.
