Jade has spoken about the first time they met and told the Mail Online the attraction to each other was ‘pretty instant’ and added: “I’ve never had that before, so I knew that it was worth chasing.”

But Jade raised a few eyebrows in a recent interview with Star magazine during which she described herself as single.

On what also happened to be her 24th birthday, the singer dressed up as a penguin and joined hundreds of fundraisers for the traditional annual Boxing Day dip in the icy North Sea.

The star, who had spent Christmas in South Shields with her family, was joined by her brother Karl and his children for the festive dip to raise money in memory of their Aunt Norma Embleton, who died in October after a battle with pancreatic cancer.
