Lydia Bright hits back as she’s mum-shamed for letting daughter, four, climb on plane seats | The Sun

LYDIA Bright has addressed "negative" comments from fans after she let her daughter climb on plane seats.

The TOWIE star was criticised by followers after she shared clips of her flying with her daughter Loretta, who she said "struggles to sit still".

Lydia was accused of being a "bad parent" and her young daughter was called "unruly."

The four-year-old was seen standing on the armrests in a pair of plastic high heels as Lydia downed a beverage.

"I have spoken about it many times before but Loretta finds it hard to sit still. Some children find it harder than others and that's ok. We aren't all the same and what a boring world it would be if we were.

"I won't spend my whole day trying to tame and suppress Loretta's character. It would be miserable for her and me," she ranted.

"Luckily the lady behind us on the plane wasn't uptight. My child spoke to her and lots of people on the flight. She also walked up and down the aisle in her heels which made people smile and climbed about a bit which people tolerated because of her age."

Defending herself against the criticism, she continued: "Maybe I have a warped vision of misbehaving but that to me is Loretta being an energetic kid.

"So for all those who send me messages like this, you are wasting your time. I hope my child never changes and I will never be a strict parent."

One fan wrote: "Wild spirit? Don't you mean misbehaving? Having rules isn't a bad thing for a child. Sit the child down."
