Married at First Sight viewers were left fuming during the latest instalment after an incredible awkward home stay meeting between Luke, Morag, her friends and mum.
Luke was repeatedly blindsided and criticised for not being the "right man" for Morag, and as he went off to have a chat with the Essex participant's mum, Morag's friends went hard on claiming the pair weren't right for each other.
The scenes were cringeworthy, and after a stressful night of trying to stick up for their relationship, Luke declared he "was done".
"Morag did not back me or stand up for me at all tonight," a hurt Luke told cameras outside their pub for the evening.
"I want to go home. I want to go home and be with my family and friends and people who love me and like me for me," he continued.
"Why am I going to keep trying with someone who doesn’t want me? I’m done."
Devastated for the contestant and angry with how Morag had handled the evening, viewers flocked to Twitter to complain.
"Luke was already insecure and Morag knew that and continued to bring him down. Women can be narcissists too. Its actually been hard to watch at times. HASHTAG FREE LUKE #MAFSUK," one person yelled.
Another begged: "I need Luke to stand on his words "I'm done" and actually leave Morag. That will come to a shock to her, because I think she thinks that he will still be around if she chooses to stay for more TV time #MAFSUK."
"IS LUKE FINALLY DONE?!? YES PLEASE!! #MAFSUK," a third declared.
While a fourth said: "Looking at Morag's friends, we know why she is what she is. Real enablers #MAFSUK."
"Morag doesn't have Lukes back & her friends r overstepping … AWKWARD!!! #MAFSUK," a fifth person posted, followed by: "Luke is too calm I would just walk away. The way they’re talking about him is not on. #MAFSUK."
Luke was so angry with his wife in the experiment he stayed in a hotel room alone after the evening out.
But upon reflection and the light of the next day, he decided he simply needed Morag to "fight" for him to continue on.
The pair met up and discussed their actions the evening before, and they both apologised and agreed more conversations needed to be had about whether their relationship is right.
The next instalment sees the couple in make or break as they go on their final date together in the experiment.
