Mike Tindall admits wife Zara ‘doesn’t speak to him’ after fashion blunders

Mike Tindall: Zara doesn’t speak to me due to fashion choices

Mike Tindall appeared on Good Morning Britain where he spoke to hosts Adil Ray and Kate Garraway about his latest charity challenge.

He was continuing to raise money for Cure Parkinson’s Trust after his dad Philip was diagnosed more than 20 years ago.

The conversation soon turned to Mike’s fashion choices and whether his wife Zara Tindall offers a helping hand.

Adil asked: “Do you get Zara’s fashion advice before you choose these shorts?

“Do you speak to Zara and say listen, what do you think of these?”

As a photo appeared on screen of the former rugby star sporting brightly coloured shorts for the charity event, Mike said: “No, basically she won’t speak to me for a week after all my choices of fashion so, yeah, it’s more about redemption afterwards.”

Mike had explained how he tried to always bring an element of fun to his charity events, saying: “We always try and have a little bit of fun.

“And we always try and make sure that, in some ways when you are fundraising you have always got to have a little bit of fun with it and see where it takes you.

“We try and do that, I think we do that quite well actually.”

One of Mike’s most recent fashion errors was when he appeared on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! sporting some particularly tight budgy smugglers.

He later sported the tiny undergarment during a New Year’s Day dip in the lake, and he shared a video on Instagram.

Speaking to the camera, Mike said: “Happy New Year everyone, the first of January.

“It’s not that cold, it’s a little bit cold, we’re down here at the lake and it’s time for the Doddie dunk!”

Taking off his waterproof jacket to reveal a pair of blue budgy smugglers, he covered his chest and said: “Sorry, it’s very nipple-y out here!”

He even released his own line of budgy smugglers after they became infamous on I’m A Celeb, with proceeds going to the Cure Parkinson’s charity.

Good Morning Britain airs on ITV on weekdays from 6am
