What was your first TV memory?

My most significant teenage TV memory was seeing Tara Palmer-Tomkinson on I’m A Celebrity. I was so in awe I made my mum and step-dad take me to Australia to see the hotel. It was wonderful to go into the jungle myself and win the series 15 years later.

Who was your first TV crush?

Hugh Grant probably. I quite like posh, middle-aged men. I don’t want to date them, I just like talking to them.

What was your first TV appearance?

That was on Made In Chelsea in 2014 just before my 19th birthday. Then I did Celebs Go Dating and they completely took the mick, sending me to a Wetherspoon in Cardiff!

What is your favourite current show?

They’re all on Netflix. My current favourite is The Durrells. I find it cathartic being transported to Greece with nature, scenery and animals. The costumes are fabulous and the locations are simply stunning. I really liked Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop Lab too, and she’s brilliant in The Politician. Everyone tells me I would love House Of Cards.

Which TV show would you take to a desert island?

The Royle Family. I watched it growing up and just love the humour. It always makes me giggle. Especially Jim Royle.

What TV show would you like to put out of its misery?

South Park. The voices really grate on me. I know it’s actually very clever and so I’m annoyed with myself that I don’t get it. It’s so not me!

Guiltiest TV pleasure?

Watching Norwich City matches and Delia Smith! I bought her cookbook too. She literally taught me how to boil an egg.

What are you up to at the moment?

My new book has just been published. It’s the second. I’m so pleased the first novel Meet Me In London did so well. The new one features the same characters.

Meet Me in Hawaii by Georgia Toffolo is published by Mills & Boon, out now in paperback, eBook and audiobook.
