Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter) fancies himself as a bit of a detective in Emmerdale soon as he grows suspicious when he sees Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) and Chloe Harris (Jessie Elland) talking.
We know that Chloe is pregnant with Mackenzie’s baby. It’s information Mack is desperate to keep hidden, fearful his relationship with Charity (Emma Atkins) could be destroyed if it ever got out.
Mack did debate telling Charity the truth, but he felt bad and covered his strange behaviour…by proposing.
Baby Esther’s christening is the event that sees relationships between Chloe and Amy (Natalie Ann Jameson) and Charity and Chas (Lucy Pargeter) get out of hand.
As things get physical between Charity and Amy, PC Swirling steps in (our hero) and has Charity arrested.
The next day, having been released from prison pending further investigation, Charity puts on a strong front for Mackenzie.
After Mack attempts to coerce Chloe into changing her statement, she chats to Amy and explains her fear about Charity going to prison.
Amy reacts badly to what Chloe has to say, as she suggests moving out.
Aware she has nowhere to live over Christmas, Chloe chats to Mackenzie but neither are aware Nate is watching, becoming increasingly suspicious over Mack’s reaction when Chloe leaves.
But will Nate put two and two together and figure out the truth about the father of Chloe’s baby?
