Piers Morgan drops another huge GMB return hint as fans beg for Hancock grilling

Whenever there's a big, controversial story, there's one person many people want to do the interview: Piers Morgan.

Love him or hate him, he's known for not holding back on what he really thinks.

Now he’s got fans' hopes up with a tweet teasing a potential return to Good Morning Britain.

The straight-talking presenter posted on Twitter about a text his brother received, from someone saying how much they miss Piers.

They were inspired by the front-page story yesterday involving the photos of Matt Hancock in a compromising position.

The text read: “In reference to Hancock: I would literally give a kidney for your brother to interview him on GMB. Literally a kidney” with crying laughing emojis.

Piers shared a shot of the text, and wrote: “Message to my younger brother from one of his mates…”

“To be honest, I’d give both kidneys and possibly a lung.”

Fans are interpreting it as Piers being desperate to give Hancock a grilling following the controversy.

One replied: “I’d give anything for a Life Stories with him, or Boris!”, referring to the show Pier hosts where he discusses the background with a certain celeb.

Another pleaded: “I just want you back on GMB! It’s utter rubbish at the moment.”

“I’m pretty sure he would decline to have you interview him, would be good to see him squirm though,” added one.

Someone else had a bright idea: “Piers, record your own reaction on Twitter if you can’t interview him. Even your reaction would be great viewing…”

Morgan’s wife, Celia, recently told The Sun how she wished he still had the presenting role: “Being married to Piers is basically one very long eye roll. "

"But what people don’t realise about Piers is that he’s usually very quiet at home because he’s exhausted himself on whatever interview he’s been doing.”

This is the only reason I am sad about him leaving GMB — well, that and the fact I wake up and there he is, staring back at me morning after morning.

She went on: “Unfortunately he’s got all his energy back now. Please, someone, just give him a job!”
