Spoilers: Gray loses it with Whitney in violent outburst in EastEnders

Time is running out for Gray Atkins (Toby-Alexander Smith) in EastEnders. With the Carters determined to find Tina (Luisa Bradshaw-White), Gray is doing all he can to convince them she’s well so the secret that he killed her can remain hidden.

One person who has supported Gray since Chantelle’s (Jessica Plummer) death is Whitney (Shona McGarty).

One thing Whitney is blissfully unaware of is that Gray has started to manipulate her, subtly planting seeds of doubt in her mind so she can spend time with him instead of living her own life.

Gray is slowly getting Whitney under his control, but coming up, he loses it with Whitney in a violent outburst – will this lead to Whitney abandoning Gray?

Things are heating up between Whitney and Kush (Davood Ghadami) but as per, duty calls and Whitney rushes off to look after Gray’s children.

When Gray returns from work, Whitney tells him the kids are on a playdate with Raymond, leaving Gray furious.

As his violent outburst ensues, Gray tells Whitney she shouldn’t have sent the children on a playdate where a killer could show up at any moment.

Gray then apologises for losing his cool, but will Whitney forgive him?

If his outburst scared Whitney, will she break free of his control before he can dig his claws in deeper?
