Strictly Come Dancing star Bobby Brazier has reportedly “banned” a relative from the BBC studio due to a long running family feud.
The 20-year-old EastEnders actor will be performing alongside professional dancer Dianne Buswell on Saturday, December 9, as they look to book a place in next week’s final. The pair will perform two routines as they look to wow both the judges and viewers at home.
The Mirror reports they will perform a Quickstep to Mack The Knife by Bobby Darin and Paso Doble to Run Boy Run by Woodkid. Friends and family of Bobby will no doubt be in the audience to watch him during the semi-final.
However, reports claim grandmother Jackiey Budden isn’t “allowed” to watch Bobby while sitting in the crowd. Jackiey, Jade Goody’s mum, is said to have missed out while Bobby’s dad, Jeff Brazier, has proudly watched on from close distance.

A source now suggests there is a long-running feud between both sides of Bobby’s family. They told The Sun: “There is a lot of friction between the Brazier side of the family and Jackiey for several long-standing reasons.
“But viewers have been surprised not to see Jackiey in the Strictly audience as she is Bobby’s grandmother. The prospect she is now facing is either not getting to see Bobby before he exits the semi-final, or not being allowed to watch him in person if he makes it to the final and wins the glitterball.”
In August, Jackiey said she was a proud gran after Bobby was announced as one of the contestants. Reports say the pair have a close bond, with Bobby taking time out of his busy schedule to text Jackiey.
She said: “He has to get up at 5am for EastEnders sometimes, so he’s always on the go. We always text though which is lovely. He likes to keep an eye on his nana, just like Freddie does.”

Recently, Bobby and Dianne revealed they were left “gutted” over an error during their performance last weekend. The pair failed to complete a lift during a Dirty Dancing-inspired routine.
“Gutted the LIFT didn’t go to plan like it had in most rehearsals, but I do have to say we took a risk and didn’t play it safe,” the 34-year-old choreographer wrote on Instagram after Sunday’s results show. “That dance was hard and so iconic that, of course, there was pressure to do it justice, and the feeling of just not quite getting it was a bit low for us.
“HOWEVER Bobby wanted to challenge himself and so did I and that is success and growth in itself.. let’s focus on the amazing parts of the dance the fact Bobby was leading me around the floor his hips foot work expression and just overall improvement for a guy who started dancing only 11 weeks ago is incredible! your strength your movement has improved so so much and I’m sure so many people agree.”
