Strictly Come Dancing star Bobby Brazier left his proud father in tears after his very first performance in his Saturday night debut.
The 20-year-old EastEnders actor took to the floor with his pro dancer, Dianne Buswell to perform the Foxtrot.
Following their dance to McFly’s ‘It’s All About You’, the judges were left very impressed. Craig Revel Horwood praised Bobby for his “frame” and “storytelling”’.
Fellow judge Motsi Mabuse said: "You gave us goosebumps”. And head judge Shirley Ballas added: "It was absolutely beautiful, it was exceptional."
But the person most touched by Bobby’s performance was his dad, Jeff Brazier, 44, who was watching in the audience.
As Bobby chatted to hosts Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly, they pointed out that his dad was in tears to which Bobby said: “Not again!”
It wasn’t that long ago Jeff was again left emotional by his son who won an NTA for Best Rising Star on 6 September. Bobby scooped up the award at the O2 for his part as Freddie Slater in EastEnders.
At the NTAs, Bobby’s win was the third for EastEnders as actress Danielle Harold scooped up Outstanding Serial Drama Performance and of course, Best Soap.
As Bobby went up to accept his NTA, he gave a moving acceptance speech about Jeff supporting him over the years, moving him to tears.
Bobby said: “It has little to do with me and everything to do with my dad. For over the last 20 years, I’ve constantly heard him say, ‘Because I can’.”
On his first Strictly dance, Bobby and Dianne went on to score 29 points tying him with Layton Williams and Nikita Kuzmin, Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola, Amanda and Giovanni Pernice. But ex-EastEnders and Casualty star Nigel Harman sits on top of the leader board as of Saturday, 23 September after his impressive Pasodoble with Katya Jones.
Fans took to Twitter to and commented on Jeff crying seeing his son dance.
One said: “Jeff Brazier is me as a parent; literally cry at everything my kids do”
Another added: “Bobby wow! Brought a tear to my eye – brilliant! @JeffBrazier you should be very proud of him coz we all are @BBCStrictly”
A third commented: "Bobby Brazier and Jeff melt my heart. What a talented guy Bobby is #Strictly is the perfect show for him."
Bobby has been the favourite to win the competition since the contestants were announced, but when talking to OK!, Bobby insisted he wasn’t sure why and said: “They have no reason to think that – it’s only because I’m young, and apparently quite fun.”
