Suki and Eve kiss in EastEnders after bonding over shared taste in music

Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) told Eve Unwin (Heather Peace) to vacate the premises in EastEnders, otherwise she would do something ‘stupid’.

Eve, however, had no intention of leaving, wanting to know more about what action Suki was contemplating taking.

Without wasting a single second, Suki approached the lawyer and planted a passionate kiss on her lips, much to Eve’s delight.

The development came shortly after the two characters bonded, with Eve proving to be a shoulder for Suki to cry on, in the wake of her family disowning her.

Suki, as viewers know, confessed to being responsible for Jags (Amar Adatia) imprisonment, prior to his death inside.

Kheerat (Jaz Singh Deol), Vinny (Shiv Jalota) and Ash (Gurlaine Kaur Garcha) were horrified by the revelation, and subsequently disowned her.

Eve, however, offered Suki support in her hour of need, telling her to give her children time and space, which would hopefully allow them to remember just how much they love her.

Eve, what’s more, revealed that she knows what it’s like to feel guilt over someone’s death, despite not actually being the one that took their life, revealing that she wasn’t with her twin sister on the day that she was killed in a car accident.

Suki took Eve’s advice on board, and the duo subsequently bonded over their shared love of metal music.

After a trip to McClunky’s, Suki invited Eve back to her place, and upon listening to some music from Suki’s personal record collection, passion ensued.

EastEnders continues Tuesday July 26 at 7:30pm on BBC One, or strum the next episode right now over on BBC iPlayer.
