Sunday Brunch guest forced to apologise after crude joke

Jenny Eclair apologises for comment on Sunday Brunch

Sunday Brunch’s Simon Rimmer and Tim Lovejoy were joined by Jenny Eclair, Josie Long, Dr Ranj and Sam Ryder who was in the studio performing his new single, Mountain.

Whilst the guests were sat round the table, Simon was cooking them a dish which involved making his own vegan gnocchi.

Demonstrating how to form the gnocchi to get it at a perfect consistency, Simon explained: “When you get the gnocchi, you always do it with one hand.

“So you have a clean hand and then it’s the right texture when you can put it on there and it feels moist but it isn’t sticky, okay?”

Being unable to hold her comedic personality, Jenny joked: “A bit like me, moist but not sticky.”

Sam who was sitting next to Jenny was stunned at the quip, as Tim exclaimed: “Really! Really! Really Jen?”

Laughing at their reactions, Jenny asked: “What time is it?” to which Simon confirmed: “It is 9:45am.”

Apologising, Jenny responded: “Sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry!”
