This Morning was affected by a schedule shake-up during the latest show.
Thursday's episode (February 24) didn't begin at 10am as scheduled.
Instead, a five-minute long ITV news bulletin focusing on the Russian invasion of Ukraine was aired in its place.
Returning to screens five minutes later, This Morning hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield explained the programme's delay.
In a somber tone, the pair also revealed further schedule changes would take place throughout Thursday's show to accommodate for news updates on the escalating crisis.
Holly said: "As you might have noticed, there's a slightly different schedule on ITV this morning.
"We'll be bringing you the latest on the situation in Ukraine via our colleagues at ITV news both at 11am and also at midday."
