Virgin River: Season 5 Part 1 trailer
Netflix have dropped the trailer for Virgin River series five and fans immediately voiced concerns for one of the most popular characters.
Most of the trailer deals with Mel Monroe (played by Alexandra Breckenridge) and Jack Sheridan’s (Martin Henderson) pregnancy and a wildfire that devastates the area.
However, eagle-eyed viewers immediately noticed a blink and you’ll miss it scene that sparked a frenzy.
The two second clip sees Brady (Benjamin Hollingsworth) on his knees with his hands behind his back in what appears to be a warehouse surrounded by a menacing group headed by Melissa Montgomery (Barbara Pollard).
A quick close up shows that he is bleeding and battered as he stares up at his captor.

Fans on the Virgin River Reddit thread had plenty of thoughts on the scene.
@Complete-Road-3229 said: “Brady is definitely in some deep s*** and that scene with him bleeding looks intense!”
A fan called @Jsscmurhog wasn’t prepared for the scene at all. “Omg, is Brady going to get killed?! That’s what it looks like in that scene,” they commented, followed by two crying emojis.
“As much as I don’t really like him, I definitely don’t want him to get killed because I feel like he’s having some good character development and he’s starting to grow on me..” (sic)
However @Complete-Road-3229 reassured them: “Yeah, that scene with Brady scares me a bit. I hope he lives. I think he will.”
This seemed to relieve @Jsscmurhog who responded: “Ooh, good thinking. Yes, Brady will probably be on the brink of getting murdered and Jack saves the day and they repair their friendship after that.”
@Stayready10 agreed with this theory commenting: “Jack may be the one to save Brady from Melissa.”

Brady and Jack served in the marines together but while Jack seems to have his life together Brady has struggled to adjust to civilian life.
Although he is currently dating Jack’s sister Brie (Zibby Allen) he and Jack have fallen out and he quit his job at Jack’s bar.
He went to work for drug dealer Calvin (David Cubbit) who is the head of a large scale cannabis farm in the area which put further strain on his relationship with Jack.
Fans will have to wait until September to see if he gets himself out of this sticky situation and he and Jack repair their friendship.
Virgin River Season 5 part 1 arrives on Netflix on September 7 with part 2 due in November.
