Warning issued as Channel 4's True Horror is branded the most terrifying show on TV

CHANNEL 4 are issuing a warning about disturbing scenes as new series True Horror has been branded the most terrifying show on TV.

Viewers will be advised about the distressing content of tonight's episode about a family plagued by ghouls.

The new dramatised documentary series hits TV tonight and will open with a stark message about the hair-raising content.

Those with a nervous disposition will be urged to take caution before watching the episode about the Brecon Beacons Hellfire Farm.

They will be told: "Scenes of paranormal activity may disturb viewers", according to The Mirror.

The series brings true horror stories to life and each episode focuses on a different case.

It mixes interviews with real life victims with dramatisations in the style of a slick scary film.

Tonight's opener is sure to scare even the most die-hard horror fans.

It follows the story of artist Bill and his wife Liz who claim to have been terrorised by demonic activity in their idyllic Welsh farmhouse.

Shortly after moving in, they claim objects started moving around the home inexplicably and their animals started to die.

Bill’s artwork stopped selling and the family became mired in financial trouble when they were hit with astronomical electricity bills, which they could not explain.

Artist dad Bill then became more reclusive while working on his paintings, which became darker and darker.
