We were I’m A Celeb legends and superstar athletes – now we’re running our own gin business | The Sun

JAMES Haskell and Mike Tindall have teamed up to launch their very own gin business.

The rugby stars turned I'm a Celebrity campmates are swapping Bushtucker Trials for booze in the unusual career move.

James, 38, took part in the 2019 series of I'm a Celeb while Mike, 44, was once of last year's campmates.

But despite starring in different series of the show they've built a strong friendship off-screen.

After launching Blackeye Gin with Alex Payne, their co-host on The Good, the Bad and the Rugby playlist, Mike confessed the journey to get there was "full of challenges".

He added: "James, Alex, and I have had various battles along the way – both on and off the pitch – and the name reflects the physical and emotional resilience and kinship we share."

Mike starred alongside eventual I'm a Celeb winner Jill Scott last year and came fourth place, behind Hollyoaks' Owen Warner and Matt Hancock.

James was in the jungle with EastEnders' Jacqueline Jossa – who was crowned queen – and was the fourth person sent home.

Away from work Mike is married to Zara Phillips, the eldest niece of King Charles.

Meanwhile James is married to Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan's daughter Chloe.
