Meghan and Harry 'feel in fierce competition' with Kate and William who 'want to get on with their lives' after drama

MEGHAN Markle and Prince Harry “feel in fierce competition” with Kate and William who “just want to get on with their lives”, royal experts have claimed today.

The Sussexes explosively quit the Royal Family last year – since going on to make a string of deals worth millions with Spotify and Netflix.

The couple insisted they wanted to continue to serve the Queen and the Commonwealth, most recently signing up to star in a concert promoting vaccines with JLo and Selena Gomez.

Meanwhile, Kate Middleton and Prince William have continued their royal duties – this week visiting a farm to chat with locals and even drive a tractor the day before their ten year wedding anniversary.

And Royal expert Angela Levin today said Meghan and Harry felt "competitive" with the future king and queen.

Ms Levin, who has long been a critic of the Sussexes, told Sun Online: “I think Meghan and Harry feel they are always in control of the narrative and they feel they are in fierce competition – like a battle – with the Cambridges.

“But wise Kate and William are just trying to get on with their lives."

She pointed to the sweet video revealed by Kate and William yesterday to mark ten years of marriage, with their kids Princes George and Louis seen playing with Princess Charlotte.

Ms Levin added: "We saw this very much in their wonderful video with the children running around.

“William and Kate don’t have to say anything in this rift.

“They just naturally play with their children and they naturally show that they don’t need them and that ‘we can manage without Harry and Meghan.’ It’s just there in the pictures.

“It’s a different way of fighting in this ‘war of the brothers’ and I think William and Kate have been much successful than the Sussexes being supergrand and ‘always right’ and wanting to change the world.”

And royal experts earlier today slammed Harry and Meghan’s confirmation as “hypocritical” – saying the couple had leaked information about private conversations to the press despite pleading for privacy.

Phil Dampier, author of Royally Suited: Harry and Meghan In Their Own Words, said: “The Queen and Prince Charles made their messages of congratulations to William and Kate on their tenth anniversary in public so why didn’t Harry and Meghan?

“Instead they relied on their spokespeople leaking out the fact they sent a message, making it look manipulated and contrived.

“To carry on a war with Harry’s blood family is unnecessary and counter-productive, and the sooner they realise that the better.

“They should get on with their lives, stop playing the victim and stop playing on their royal connections by leaking stories while pleading for privacy.

“People can see through it and anyone who advises them to carry on this way is giving them bad advice.”
