A WOMAN was rushed to hospital after driving over herself as she desperately tried to flee a feral cat.
Traffic cops in West Cocoa, Florida, told how the unnamed woman had parked on a quiet residential street when the beast jumped inside to scratch and bite her.

In her desperation to escape, she forgot the vehicle was still in reverse as she scrambled out of her seat.
She was rushed to hospital in a critical condition after the four-door saloon crushed her as it rolled backwards into a parked 4×4.
Highway Patrol officer Lt Channing Taylor said: "It's very unusual to have an animal leap into a car and bite somebody like this and then get run over by your own car.
"The car rolled into the street and did strike a parked vehicle as well."
