Love Island star Dani Dyer’s boyfriend, Sammy Kimmence, is facing the possibility of prison after pleading guilty to five counts of fraud at Portsmouth Crown Court on 19th April.

Now, a source close to the star tells OK! magazine that Dani, 24, is “terrified” that if it came to a prison sentence for Sammy, it could leave her looking after the couple’s baby son, Santiago, on her own.

Speaking exclusively to OK! online, the source said: “Dani is going to be terrified at the the possibility of effectively becoming a single mum so early on into motherhood, especially off the back of the guilt she feels for not breastfeeding Santi that she has spoken about on social media.”

Dani gave birth to her first child, a baby boy named Santiago, in January. The star has shared milestones from her sons’ first few months on social media as she gets to grip with being a new mum.

Recently, she opened up about stopping breastfeeding after admitting she was “struggling” and “wasn’t enjoying it.”

Dani left the Love Island villa in 2018 after winning with then-boyfriend Jack Fincham. The couple split the following April, and Dani was reported to have reunited with ex-boyfriend, Sammy, in 2019. Last year, the couple announced that they were expecting their first child together.

Sammy had originally pleaded not guilty to the charges last week, but changed his plea as he made his latest appearance in court.

Earlier this week, a representative for Dani told The Sun Online she and Sammy, 24, are “still together” when asked if she was continuing to support him following his last-minute plea change.

During the hearing at Portsmouth Crown Court, it was heard how Sammy’s victims Peter Martin, 90, and Peter Haynes, 80, were legitimate clients from an investment company where he used to work, with him taking them on when the business stopped operating.

Sammy falsely claimed to the victims that he was authorised to provide financial services, taking £33,919.

The stockbroker’s victim Peter Martin died in November 2020 age 91, while Peter Haynes suffers from Alzheimer’s.

Sammy pleaded guilty to five counts of fraud and was told by the judge how his offence were serious enough to cross the custody threshold and could land him a prison sentence.

It is not suggested that Dani was involved or was aware of her partner’s wrongdoing.

Sammy is due to be sentenced on Friday 11 June, when he will find out if he will face prison time.

Dani’s boyfriend spoke only to confirm his name and plead guilty to the charge.

Craig Harris, defending, said of Kimmence: “He is a relatively young man of previous good character, the offences go back into his late teenage years.

“This is a case that crosses the custodial threshold but might be within a range which I argue could be suspended.

“Quite a lot has gone into this young man's life in the last few years.

“He is seeking to reimburse the losses he has caused.”
