Katie Price ‘to face creditors in High Court’ over £3.2million debt repayment

Katie Price is reportedly set to attend High Court on Monday 14 February after failing to "fully engage" with creditors to repay her debt of £3.2million.

According to The Sun, the 43 year old, who recently halted her OnlyFans account after just one month, will face a probe into how she's paying the debt that was accrued by her company Jordan Trading Ltd, which was first set up in 2003 and oversaw her perfume and make-up lines.

Earlier this year, a source told The Mirror that trustees are "casting the net far and wide to assess how much money is coming into Katie’s coffers".

They added that her bankruptcy trustees were drawing up a dossier of all her recent deals ahead of the hearing this month.

Katie, who was once worth £45 million, was declared bankrupt in 2019. She was then ordered to pay £12,000 a month to her creditors.

Since then, the former I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! campmate is believed to have earned £45,000 for her Mucky Mansion show.

As well as this, the BBC paid her a sum of money for its documentaries on her son Harvey, and she is thought to be paid for the frequent promotions she does on her Instagram page.

The TV personality, whose family is "totally against" her having more surgery as it's "not nice for her kids", also receives payment for advertisements on her YouTube channel, where she boasts 356,000 subscribers.

Despite being in a large amount of debt, Katie has recently holidayed in Maldives, Portugal, Spain, Las Vegas and Turkey. She has defended her trips abroad, and insisted that almost all of them were for business purposes.

It comes after Katie recently addressed her car crash and opened up on her regrets over driving while under the influence of alcohol in September.

Katie had a collision near her home in West Sussex in the early hours of the morning on 28 September and flipped her car. In December, she was handed a 16-week suspended prison sentence for drink-driving while disqualified and without insurance.

The star was in the midst of filming her new Channel 4 documentary series Mucky Mansion when she was suffering struggles with her mental health.

In the third and final episode of the show, which has had viewers hooked on her DIY projects and hilarious rapport with builder Steve, things turned serious.

After giving her garden room renovation and decorating job to her mum Amy and sister Sophie Price, the narrator told viewers Katie had been arrested and subsequently told to check in to the Priory rehab centre as a condition of her suspended sentence.

Returning to explain her situation on the show, Katie was seen sitting on a garden bench at her Horsham home.

"I regret getting in the car, I could have killed someone," she told the camera. "I could have killed myself," the mum-of-five continued.

The star went on to say she knew how "awful" it was that her kids may have ended up not having a mum as a result of her actions, but she was at "rock bottom".
