Rochelle Humes says she is ‘finding her feet’ in heartfelt post after losing ‘loved one’

Rochelle Humes has revealed that she has lost a loved one in a heartfelt post shared on social media.

The former The Saturdays singer, 32, is currently on holiday with her husband, Marvin Humes, 36, and their three children: Alaia-Mai, eight, Valentina, four, and Blake, one.

Sharing a glimpseinside her sun-soaked family trip, Rochelle revealed to her 2.2 million followers that she’s currently grieving someone, which is why she’s been quiet on Instagram.

Rochelle wrote: “I wanted to wish you all a Happy New Year.. Thank you for all of your messages, I know I’ve been quiet. Losing a loved one is never easy, so I’m trying to find my feet whilst holding my little family close and making some more memories.”


The mum-of-three then proceeded to share a heartfelt quote about losing someone special.

It read: “Although the world keeps turning and the sun comes up each day. Life has never been the same, since you were called away. You were such a special person, so gentle, good and kind and have left the sweetest memories and thoughts of you behind. I only wish there was a way, that I could see you one more time, to thank you for the joy you bought, into this life of mine.”

The This Morning host has since been inundated with kind messages of support from her followers.

Rochelle’s sister Sophie wrote: “Love you”, followed by a string of white heart emojis, while Aston Merrygold’s partner Sarah Richards echoed similar sentiments.

Journalist and beauty expert Dr Ateh Jewel wrote: “Sending so much love,” as Rochelle’s former S Club 7 Juniors bandmate Aaron Renfree said: “Love you so much”.

However it is not known who Rochelle has tragically lost

With this year having started off on a sad note for the 32 year old, celeb psychicSally Morgan has predicted that Rochelle will spend more time focusing on her young familyin 2022.

Sally told OK!: “Her career is flying right now, but she could want to slow down in 2022. There are going to be wonderful opportunities, but she’ll turn down a lot of work to spend more time at home and around the children.

"She’ll still do bits and pieces with hubby Marvin. There’s longevity there, and they have a good relationship. I see them being together forever.”
