I'm a size 8 with 34DD boobs & tried a fall style but it makes busty women look bigger, I feel like a shapeless blob | The Sun

A TRENDSETTER has warned busty women not to wear a very specific style of dress because it looks unflattering on their figure.

Shelby (@shelbstales), who wears a size 8 and 34DDD, explained that the popular fall frock makes women with a big chest look larger.

She boasts almost 295,000 followers on TikTok, where she shares advice for how to style a small frame with large breasts.

She took to the social media platform speaking passionately about why curvy women shouldn’t embrace the oversized sweater dress trend.

Shelby said: “Let’s have a little chit-chat about being a size eight with a large chest.

“This is what not to wear.

"Large oversized sweaters or honestly anything oversized for that matter.

“It’s going to make you look bigger because if you have something that comes out like this and you have a large chest it’s just going to go straight down and not show that you have a waist.

“And see that’s the problem because you’re going to look bigger.”

Shelby wore a loose-fitting brown jumper dress with a high neck as she showed how it looked from every angle.

She also pulled it tighter to show how a different style of knitted dress would be more flattering.

She said: “Now if you’re fine with looking bigger that’s great. If you’re trying to cover up whatever you want to cover up, you do that sis.

“But for me, I need to show that I have some sort of a figure or I’m just going to feel like a big blob.

“I just don’t like that so I would go for something tighter.

“Most likely it’s going to be a ribbed fitted sweater dress with some Spanx underneath because I still don’t like my stomach.

“Also, if you have a round face like I do.

"I have a big round face with chipmunk cheeks and I know it and I am ok with it.

“But I also know that I don’t need to wear turtle necks. I know that it’s not going to accentuate my features.

“It’s going to make my face look rounder and typically if you wear something with a high neck you should wear your hair up.

“But if I wear my hair up I typically have bigger cheeks that day.

“Just as a reminder you can wear whatever you like and feel confident in.”

She added in the caption: “What not to wear as a size eight or anyone with a large top half.

“Fall and winter can be super hard with all the oversized sweaters and turtlenecks.

“Just remember that you don’t have to follow fashion trends, you can wear what you like, and if you don’t look good in your clothing try something fitted.”

She included the hashtags #size8fashion, #curvyfashion, and #largechestproblems.

The post received over 55,000 likes with commenters eagerly anticipating more fashion advice for the colder months.

One person wrote: “I felt the round face. I absolutely love turtleneck but makes my double chin worse lol.”

Another commented: “5’4 and 150lbs, and a natural 30HH.
