EasyJet  brings back £695 Advent Calendar containing travel treats worth more than £2,000

If a chocolate stuffed calendar seems a bit too traditional, easyJet have launched their annual Advent(ure) Calendar – containing vouchers for flights, airport lounge access or even a package holiday.

The festive, limited-edition treat, which is on sale from this morning, features 12 drawers each containing special travel gifts to be enjoyed next year.

Priced at £695, the calendar offers flights, experiences and travel extras worth more than £2,000.

There are four pairs of return flights and £50 to spend on an easyJet holiday in the drawers of every Adventure calendar.

This year’s edition also includes the chance for four lucky customers to find a Golden Ticket – for an easyJet package holiday for two.

Last year, the calendars sold out in just two days – and are expected to fly off the shelves this time around too.

The elusive Golden Ticket – hidden in four calendars – will win you an easyJet Holidays package for two with Iberostar Hotels and Resorts. 

This also includes flights and transfers, alongside 23kg of luggage per person.

The hotels include Iberostar Selection Albufera Playa in Palma, Iberostar Playa Gaviotas Park in Fuerteventura, Iberostar Founty Beach in Agadir and the Iberostar Selection Kantaoui Bay in Enfida, Tunisia 

Fifty per cent of the proceeds from the sales of the calendars will go to easyJet’s charity partner UNICEF. 

Aspiring globe-trotters are advised to order before November 20 if they want delivery before December 1.

Last year, these sold out in just two days – and are expected to fly off the shelves this time around too

It comes as the airline’s research revealed that more than three-quarters (76%) of Brits said that exploring more of the world is one of their New Year’s resolutions for 2024.

According to easyJet, we are prioritising travel above other popular resolutions like starting a new hobby or quitting a bad habit, with Italy voted the country that Brits most want to visit in 2024.

And more than half (55%) of Brits said that they start planning next year’s travel before the next year begins. 

Meanwhile, Which? has recently revealed the best seasonal package holidays to book right now.

The watchdog has drawn up a list of seven winter holidays offered by Which? Recommended Providers – ‘highly rated’ travel companies that ‘offer great value for money’ – to choose from. 

This wanderlust-inducing list includes a ‘bargain’ Caribbean cruise, a trip to a European Christmas market and an all-inclusive break in sunny Cancun.
