These are just my opinions based of things I’ve noticed ! #wealth #rich #mindsetofrich

‘I just started working at this very nice, expensive country club and there’s a lot of new money and a lot of old money. And the difference between old money and new money is really obvious.’

According to Bella, the first thing that she noticed was that people with old money ‘always introduce themselves with their first and last name’

According to Bella, the first thing that she noticed was that people with old money ‘always introduce themselves with their first and last name.’

‘They would never say, “Hey, I’m Bella.” It’s always, “Bella Dane, nice to meet you,”‘ she shared.

‘They always say first and last name and they say it with a lot of pride. And they have a nice, firm handshake.

‘When you give the first impression that I’m important and my name is important, it set’s the tone for how people will view you.’

In addition, she said she noticed that people who have been rich for a while often speak ‘slowly, confidently, and calmly.’

‘This isn’t true all the time but I definitely noticed that their speech is much slower [overall], it makes them seem really sure of themselves,’ she added.

‘They’re not rushing to get through a conversation or [seem like they] need to say something.’

When it comes to how they dress, the Texas-native insisted that people who come from old money never wear items with ‘big a** brand logos plastered across the front’

Another thing that she noticed about rich people is that they have ‘quite refined pallets’ and are very ‘knowledgeable about food and alcohol’

Bella described prosperous people as ‘really good listeners,’ explaining, ‘During a conversation, they’re not thinking about what they’re going to say next, they’re just presently listening to what the other person is saying.’

All the things that people who come from Old Money do, according to Bella

  • They introduce themselves with their first and last name
  • They speak slowly, confidently, and calmly
  • They presently listen when others are talking
  • They avoid clothes with brand logos plastered across the front
  • They’re very knowledgeable about food and alcohol
  • They never walk into a room while using their phone
  • They’re always nice to staff

When it comes to how they dress, the Texas-native insisted that people who come from old money never wear items with ‘big a** brand logos plastered across the front.’

‘Money talks but wealth is silent,’ she continued. ‘When I see a woman walk in [wearing some] really high-quality, really well-made clothing, or very stylish pieces, and there’s no logo or brand on anything, I know she’s richer than everyone else.’

Another thing that she noticed about rich people is that they have ‘quite refined pallets’ and are very ‘knowledgeable about food and alcohol.’

‘They know what quail eggs are, they know what’s in a Cosmopolitan,’ she told her followers.

‘Yeah, a lot of them still order chips and queso and nachos and things like that, it’s not a pretentious sort of thing, they’re just knowledgeable about food and alcohol.’

Bella explained that people who hail from old money also know how to command a room, and they always take time to make sure they’re ‘put together’ before entering.

‘When they walk in their room they’re never on their phone, or looking down and fumbling with their bag,’ she dished.

‘I realized they’re definitely making sure that they’re prepared and put together before they enter the room.

‘They always enter with their chin up, they look around, scan the room, they smile.’

Many people took to the comment section to share their thoughts, with one branding Bella’s observations as ‘so real’ and another calling them ‘spot on’

Last but not least, Bella insisted that the most wealthy people are always ‘really nice’ to employees at the country club.

‘They’re always extremely interactive with the bartenders and staff,’ she concluded.

‘Absolutely so true,’ someone else agreed. ‘I’ve met billionaires with simple T-shirts and unassuming clothing. But when they dress, they’re in historical fabrics.’

‘Taking notes,’ another user wrote. A fourth said, ‘People that truly have it like that don’t ever need to prove to others they have it. People that don’t, however, will continually act like they do.’

‘Rich people are so interesting,’ a fifth comment read.

A different person added, ‘Old money is awesome, they are almost always sweet nice people. New rich just want to shove it in your face.’
