DELE ALLI'Sodds of a Tottenham exit have drifted, according to Paddy Power.
Newcastle were clear frontrunners to land the midfielders but they've drifted from odds-on favourites to 12/1, leaving Everton as 5/1 favourites.
Before the winter break, Alli made headlines after he was dropped from Spurs' squad by Antonio Conte for their huge clash away at Stamford Bridge.
Alli, 25, has featured just ten times for Spurs in the Premier League this season after recently falling out of favour with Conte.
If Everton do land Alli, he could be the second high-profile midfielder to arrive at Goodison Park after reportedly being close to signing Donny Van De Beek.
Sky Sports Pundit and Manchester United legend Roy Keane believes it's the right time for Alli to move on.
He said: "The kid's lost that eye of the tiger and sometimes you've got to let the kid go – that's the nature of football.
"You've done your time there, you've lost your way, be good to the kid – let the kid go.
Keane added: "He's got to look at himself. He's definitely lost that hunger.
"He's had a couple of contracts, you take your eye off the ball in this game and you get left behind."
