RONNIE O'SULLIVAN has been hailed by fans after he was spotted standing at a bus stop.

O'Sullivan was spotted on Sunday as he prepared for the the UK Championship final and the chance to be crowned the UK's oldest champion – 30 years after he became the youngest – in York.




Overcoming Ding Junhiu 10-7 in the final saw the Rocket land a record-eighth title which also came with a cool £250,000 prize fund.

Ahead of his historic victory, humble O'Sullivan was spotted standing at a bus stop in the city.

A fan recorded the moment he saw O'Sullivan and posted the clip on TikTok, proudly shouting; "Look who I've got here, my Ronnie O'Sullivan, the star man, my blessed boy. Oh my God, I can't believe I met you, I'm looking out for you."

O'Sullivan, who turns 48 today, could be seen posing next to the fan, who referred to the snooker icon as "the world legend of snooker champion".

O'Sullivan had a wide smile on his face while the fan waxed lyrical about him.

Reacting to the viral video, one viewer said: "Such a gentleman Ronnie O'Sullivan."
