TOTTENHAM want to sign Barcelona flop Philippe Coutinho for FREE, according to reports.
The Premier League outfit are looking to take advantage of Barca's dire financial situation.
According to El National, Spurs could offer to take Coutinho off Barca's hands for nothing.
The report states it would be 'beneficial' for Barca to get the Brazilian's £370,000-a-week wages off the books.
Coutinho – who cost Barca £145million in 2018 – also looks destined to fall further down the pecking order following the arrival of big money signing Ferran Torres.
Coutinho is almost certain to leave Barca in the next two windows and the Prem looks to be his likeliest destination.
The former Liverpool man was reportedly offered a loan at Newcastle, but turned it down as it would have been a backwards step in his career.
Newcastle are waist deep in a relegation battle, which could be a risky move for Coutinho.

But Everton, Spurs or Arsenal are more promising propositions for the once highly rated midfielder.
Gunners boss Mikel Arteta has reportedly ‘given the green light’ to signing Coutinho as he looks to bolster his squad amid an intense battle to finish in the top four.
And Arsenal could be the right club for Coutinho, with the north London club occupying the final Champions League spot.
