Danny Dyer hints at secret EastEnders feud as he makes cryptic dig at co-stars

Danny Dyer has seemingly hit out at his former EastEnders co-stars following his dramatic exit as Mick Carter.

The 45-year-old recently bowed out of the hit BBC soap after playing Queen Vic landlord Mick Carter for nine years.

In his explosive scenes aired on Christmas Day, Mick appeared to get lost at sea after plunging into the water to save his estranged wife Linda.

Since his exit, Danny has been candid about his reasons for exiting the show after nearly a decade of playing hard-man Mick.

But now, the dad of Love Island's Dani Dyer has seemed to hint at a secret feud with his EastEnders co-stars.

Speaking on The Jonathan Ross Show, which airs on Saturday (February 25) Danny was asked who he misses the least from the soap cast.

“There’s a few of them actually, I ain’t going to lie,” he began.

“I won’t say [who], you know. Most of them I love dearly. Not all…”

Jonathan asked: “So they know who they are, though?”

Danny coyly replied: “I would have thought so.”

However, the TV favourite didn’t name which actors he was referring to.

Danny was also quizzed on his return to Albert Square – seeing as his character’s body is yet to be found.

In the dramatic episode, his character Mick Carter was seen jumping into the water to try and save his ex-wife Linda after she and Janine drove off a cliff and into the English Channel.

“If it goes tits up, I can go back. I can turn up in three years’ time, walk in the Queen Vic smothered in seaweed,” he told Jonathon.

“They wanted to keep it open. I’m very privileged and grateful for that job. It really did change my career and my life… You don’t have much say in [the exit], I just wanted it to be exciting and quite cinematic.

“It went down really well, a lot of people were quite touched by it. People were sending me all this stuff, TikToks of kids crying, it really upset them,” he said.
