Emmerdale spoiler sees Ellis left for dead as Cain wages war on the Chapmans in new year

The dust from the Woolpack explosion will have settled, but things are far from rosy for the residents of Emmerdale as we head into 2022. It's drama a-plenty as families butt heads and the tension level rises.

Blaming Ellis Chapman (played by Asan N'Jie) for Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) and Kyle Winchester (Huey Quinn) almost dying in the forest, Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) desperately seeks revenge.

He orders Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) to evict Ellis from Tall Trees which triggers an all out war between the Dingles and the Chapmans. Kidnapping Ellis, Cain abandons him on the moors, as payback for putting Kyle in hospital.

Out on the moors, Ellis is left for dead in the freezing cold as he lays curled up on the floor with bloodied, bare feet.

Meanwhile, Al Chapman (Michael Wildman) and Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle) worry about Ellis’ whereabouts after realising that he didn’t show up to the B&B last night.

The pair soon find out he’s been spotted with Cain and their worry deepens.
