Sarah Jessica Parker introduced her family’s latest addition to her 9.4 million Instagram followers yesterday, announcing she had adopted another kitten.
But it was not just any kitten, as the Carrie Bradshaw actress rescued her fictional pet cat who co-starred with her in And Just Like That.
The HBO star shared a series of pictures of her new furry friend, Lotus – including a sweet snap of herself holding up the cute pet.
The Sex And The City icon captioned the post: “His off-camera name is Lotus.
“He and his siblings were all given botanical names when they were rescued as newborns by the @cthumanesociety.

“Adopted officially by the Parker/Broderick family in April 2023. He joins Rémy and Smila whom we adopted in May 2022.”
“If he looks familiar, that’s because he is. X, SJ,” Sarah concluded her announcement.
The announcement comes after Kim Cattrall made a comeback to the Sex and the City universe in the grand finale of And Just Like That season two.
The Samantha Jones star sparked a fan frenzy with a short appearance that saw her have a long-distance phone call with Carrie with the former now residing in London.
But to get back on set and make loyal viewers’ wishes for a reunion come true, Cattrall did have an important condition.

She told The View panellists that she wanted to be dressed by designer Patricia Field who worked on Sex and the City.
Field, who worked on her wardrobe in the original comedy-drama, wasn’t hired to dress the stars in the spin-off.
Cattrall said: “I just thought, if I’m going to come back, I got to come back with that kind of Samantha style. I got to push it. And we did.”
And Just Like That season 2 is available on NOW in the UK respectively.
