This Morning viewers admitted they didn't recognise Shayne Ward when he went on the show to plug his new drama.
The former X Factor winner was on the sofa on Tuesday (17 October) to discuss The Good Ship Murder, which sees him reunite with his Coronation Street co-star Catherine Tyldesley. But as he chatted about the plot and the shoot, many people were distracted by his transformation.
Shayne is known for the shaved head look he usually sports, with his hair tending to be close-cropped when it is at its longest. But he has now grown it all out and surprised fans when he appeared on the programme with a head full of longish dark brown locks.

Viewers could not get over how different he looked to his days on the cobbles, where he played Aidan Connor. And several flocked to X, formerly Twitter, to remark on his jaw-dropping makeover.
"Anyone else not recognise Shane at all with a head of hair?" asked one baffled fan. Another wondered: "WTF is that on his head?"
"He’s got Adam Barlow's hair," said someone else, referring to another character from the soap. "Shayne looks so different to his Aidan on Corrie days," posted another viewer. One person joked it was "definitely a Poundland hair dye".
During the interview, the actor admitted that when he and Catherine were filming their new show, people often didn't realise who he was now that he has changed his look. He told hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary that because his hair was long he slipped totally under the radar.
"Well they didn't know it was me because of my hair," the 39-year-old explained. "As normally I have a bald head."
Catherine – who starred as Eva Price in the ITV soap – chimed in: "I had one woman come over to me and she was like, 'Oh that storyline with Eva and Aidan…' and he was stood next to me the entire time!"
Shayne said the lady then turned to him and asked if he agreed that the actors had done a great job in the soap, and he replied: "They were fantastic."
