Tyson Fury's wife Paris reveals he turned down I'm A Celebrity – and his VERY surprising fear | The Sun

PARIS Fury has revealed her husband Tyson turned down a stint on I’m A Celebrity.

But the mum-of-six admitted she didn’t think the boxing champ would have been very good at it anyway – because he’s “horrified” by creepy crawlies.

Speaking as she returned to the Loose Women panel today, Paris said: “Tyson did get offered to go in the jungle a few years ago.

“I think he would be stone useless, I have got to be truthful.

“He is horrified by animals, creepy crawlies, anything’s that not the norm. One time a rat ran from under the shed outside, he jumped on a chair and squealed like a girl. If he went in the jungle, everyone would starve!”

Elsewhere on the show, Paris discussed her husband’s very short-lived retirement.

"Tyson really believed in his heart of hearts that he retired. He retired just after the last fight and he really believed it,” she said.

However after a bit of time off, Paris noticed he was starting to get “restless”.

Paris explained: “Tyson went through a bad time with depression and I really did notice whilst he wasn't training or looking into fights how much it sort of dipped him.

"And even though he's learned how to progress in live with mental health problems, he managed to deal with it daily but you could see the lull and the moment he started talking about coming back to boxing and he had a meeting that day, there was a lift – a light went back on."
