AFTER a very dramatic Christmas, Rocky will be trying to make amends with Sonia Fowler.
But when he will be confronted in The Vic for looking at inappropriate websites, things will clearly still be tense between the pair.
The Cotton family was at the core of a dramatic twist during the 2021 festive season as Rocky (Brian Conley) and Dotty Cotton's (Milly Zero) vile plan was exposed during Christmas.
With the revelation that the con man isn't really her father, despite him posing as such for months, it's no wonder Sonia (Natalie Cassidy) holds a grudge.
However, Tom Cotton will try to make amends with the young woman during an upcoming episode of the BBC One soap, scheduled to air next week (January 20, 2022).

While at The Vic, Nancy Carter (Maddy Hill) will try to help Rocky use a laptop.
Things get awkward when he is confronted by an angry Mick (Danny Dyer) in front of Sonia for looking at inappropriate websites.
Faced with this innocent mistake, Rocky will share a brief smile with Sonia before giving her money in a bid to patch things up.
In doing so, it will become clear that Sonia is not yet ready to let him out of the doghouse.
Sonia has every reason to be angry.

As mentioned above, Rocky posed as her father for months in order to cash in on Dot Cotton's whopping inheritance money.
The elderly woman moved to Galway in 2020, leaving her fortune to her step-grand-daughter.
In his plan, Rocky had the help of his niece (who, later, turned out to be his daughter) Dotty.
Their ambitions slowly came crashing down when Rocky began to feel remorse about tricking Sonia.
The guilt and stress over his lies catching up with him led him to have a heart attack after he had written a confession letter.
Both Dotty and Rocky were exposed during Christmas and while the latter has to deal with Sonia's anger, the young club manager has been kicked out, left to sleep in the rough.
Rocky suffered a second heart attack ahead of the new year.
Will Sonia ever forgive Rocky and Dotty?
