Laura Tobin shared her excitement with fans after she announced she will be presenting the weather on Good Morning Britain all week.

The 41-year-old, who is a regular face and show favourite, took to Twitter to share her news during the show.

Heading over to Twitter, Laura shared a selfie where she could be seen in the GMB studio with presenters Kate Garraway and Richard Madeley in the background.

Wearing a gorgeous floral dress, she captioned her post: "Monday-let’s do this. (This is my first full week for a month.)

Seeing her wholesome display, fans gave their support while sharing their thoughts on her post.

One fan wrote:" You're definitely sunshine on a rainy day as the song goes Laura."

Another fan made a controversial comment and said: "Welcome back Laura. You're the best thing on the show. Such a shame to see GMB slowly morph into GB News."

A third chimed: "Glad to see you back looking gorgeous as always."

While a fourth added: "Good luck Laura, You always do your best at what you do."

Last week, Laura was replaced by weather forecaster Ruth Dodsworth.

Although Laura has an array of support from fans across the country many were also glad to see Ruth on their screens- with some describing her as a "breath of fresh air".

Taking to Twitter at the time, one viewer said: "Wish we could keep this weather girl, she is such a breath of fresh air."

While another added: "Great choice of weather presenter @ruth_itv #GMB @GMB Smart, professional & brightens the day."

On Monday's show, Laura promised viewers that there should be warmer temperatures by the end of the week.

But while reporting, Richard picked up on the fact that she often uses the word "briefly" when talking about the potential heat.

Agreeing with his statement, Laura said she can't always guarantee that the sunshine will last despite the predicted forecast.

However, the meteorologist confirmed that the temperatures are "slowly climbing up".
